One time I went into a yeshiva where they were not yet used to me. All of the young men were concentrating on their learning and I yelled out, “Ahavas goyim!” (Love the gentile). This commandment is normally phrased, Ahavas Yisrael (Love your fellow Jew). They had never heard such a commandment as I yelled out to them. They freaked out. They actually jumped over the tables to get to me. Finally the Rosh Hayashiva broke it up, and when pressed had to admit that the command Ahavas brious (Love of Creation) includes love of the gentile.
